Brianna McGeehan has been studying music and performing since she was a child. She will be helming the CP Kids Choir beginning with the Spring Term of 2026.
Being the daughter of a music teacher and musician, music was simply a part of daily life. After a chlildhood spent focusing on classical, voice, piano and violin, Brianna picked up the guitar and started writing songs. A music therapy major in college, she also studied music abroad in India and Tanzania before becoming a professional singer-songwriter and a music teacher. She has been teaching for over 15 years and continues to devote her life to music in all the ways. Sharing the joy of music is truly one of her greatest passions.
Her instinct for the Spring Term 2026 is to follow joy, meditating on “The World in Bloom“ and she plans to bring songs like Nina Simone’s “Feelin’ Good”, Bob Marley “3 Little Birds”, and Bill Withers “Lean On Me”.
